Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, will host the 17th Kazakhstan International Exhibition InterFood Astana 2015 - "Food Industry" from May 28 to May 30, 2015.

For many years, this project has been the leading professional platform for the presentation of food products, technologies and equipment for food and processing industries, and is a demonstration of the modern trends in catering, packaging industry, develops interregional cooperation, creates a platform for effective communication between producers of goods and services and their customers.

Organizers acknowledge an increased interest of participants in the exhibition. To date exhibition area has increased by 30% compared to the same period in 2014. The exhibition is expected to involve more than 100 companies from 15 countries of the world and over 3,500 visitors.

The exhibition will be presenting a variety of confectionery and bakery equipment from major players of this industry such as Voskhod/Russia, Makiz Ural/Russia, Favorit Tehno/Kazakhstan- Italy. Equipment for the meat-processing industry will be presented by Kompo/Belarus, Edinstvo/Russia, Weber Rus/Russia-Germany, Mim Ltd/Kazakhstan.

For the first time, collective exhibition by Krasnoyarsk Krai and Omsk oblast (Russkiy Desert, Company "Znatnye Produkty", Mineral water bottling plant "Omskiy", Prodmassiv, Ecoproduct, Poligraf) will feature at this trade fair.

The samples of products will be evaluated by a special commission chaired by Vice-President of the Kazakhstan Academy of Nutrition. Winners will be awarded gold medals and diplomas, and entitled to apply the medal symbol on the award-winning product label, as well as mention the fact of award while advertising their products. By participating in the demonstration contest, producers confirm the quality of their products with special signs of distinction that raise the level of consumer confidence in their products.
