In order to get to know the company better, we offer to learn its history.
The history of De’Longhi began in 1902, when a workshop for the manufacture of parts for ovens and gas stoves was opened in Treviso provincial town.
In 1950, the production was expanded to the manufacture of heating systems.
With the appearance of Giuseppe De’Longi in the company in 1974, the business concept changed. The main attention was paid to the production of climate technology. This direction has been the main one in production for two decades. The first product branded with its own name was an oil radiator.
In the 1980s, the company entered the world market, supplying its products to America, Europe, and China. De’Longhi has consolidated its identity by producing products with unique qualities and offering customers practical solutions for everyday needs.
In 1985, the company began production of kitchen appliances. The first such product was the Sfornatutto electric oven. The design, quality and functionality of the mini-oven quickly consolidated the company’s success in this segment.
Since the 1990s, the company has been actively expanding, creating branches all over the continent. In 1990, the first carob coffee maker was presented, and 4 years later a coffee maker with an autocapuccino system was released. Since then, the company has been constantly improving the technology to create multifunctional equipment.
In 2003, the automatic Magnifica coffee machine was created, which has the latest system for making espresso or cappuccino in one touch.
Now De’Longhi produces all types of coffee machines and coffee makers. Currently, De’Longhi produces a wide range of home and kitchen products.
In 2001, the company completely bought out Ariete and Kenwood, and since 2012 De’Longhi has also been the copyright holder for the production of Braun home and kitchen appliances.
