INTERFOOD ASTANA 2023: SHOWCASE OF INNOVATIONS AND LATEST TRENDS IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY IN ASTANA
ON MAY 31, THE FOOD INDUSTRY EXHIBITION - INTERFOOD ASTANA 2023 OPENED ITS DOORS IN ASTANA
The exhibition exposition is now presented in nazarbayev center, a modern venue, which is the result of a careful selection of the organizers.
Nazarbayev Center meets all current technical requirements, reflecting the growth and significance of the exhibition. The participants were 72 companies from Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Germany, Kazakhstan, China, Malaysia, Russia, Uzbekistan. Moreover, the interest in the Kazakhstani market from the world’s food producers and distributors is confirmed by the fact that 70% of the total number of exhibitors are international participants. This is an impressive figure, reflecting the growing attractiveness and potential of the Kazakhstani market. It is especially significant that companies from Armenia, Vietnam and Malaysia are represented at InterFood Astana for the first time, which indicates the expansion of geographical coverage and the opportunity to open new opportunities in the food industry of Kazakhstan and beyond.
Traditionally, the Republic of Belarus and number of regions of the Russian Federation, including the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, the Orenburg, Penza and Chelyabinsk regions, traditionally presented national stands. In order to familiarize, A.V. Loginov, the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Kazakhstan, D.P. Desov, the Representative of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the collective stands of the Russian Federation. P.V. Utyupin, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the national stand of Belarus and got acquainted with the presented companies. This visit highlights the importance and attractiveness of the participation of Belarusian companies in InterFood Astana 2023 exhibition, as well as the deep diplomatic links between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan. Mr P.V. Utyupin showed interest in products and innovations presented by Belarusian companies at the exhibition.
Such meetings and exchange of experience can help expand trade cooperation and create new opportunities for bilateral development in the food industry.
At their stands, participants presented new product portfolios; food additives and ingredients; alcoholic, non-alcoholic drinks, tea, coffee; equipment for the production of food, drinks, packaging; packaging technologies, containers and packaging; equipment for bakeries and much more.
A separate focus at the exhibition is the coffee theme, among the participants are suppliers of coffee equipment, coffee and specialized dairy products for baristas from Delongi, Master Coffee, Lebo, EkoNiva. The stand of a large Russian manufacturer of healthy sugar-free snacks, high-protein snacks, breakfasts, protein pastries, toppings, sauces, low-calorie chocolate, sports nutrition - Fitness Food LLC. GATTO NERO RUS LLC, the largest manufacturer and supplier of microgreen growing kits in the Chelyabinsk region, presented its products at the exhibition for the first time. Vitba confectionery factory is the leader of Belarus in the market of dry breakfast cereals, as well as one of the most significant enterprises of the republic for the production of flour confectionery products, presented their products to a wide audience. SWEEZARD LLP, a supplier of high-quality ingredients for the confectionery industry, the exclusive distributor of the leading confectionery brands in Europe and Russia, confidently told at its stand that it is a key success factor for their products. Zhukovskoe Moloko LLC at InterFood Astana 2023 presented elite cheeses with mold - TM Whitecheese From Zhukovka, and also presented their new product - brie cheese with porcini mushroom. Fosforel, a manufacturer of ready-made fish and seafood delicacies, a leader in its industry, presented high-quality products at the stand, which have been the key to the company’s success for many years.
Also, today the business program of the exhibition began its work. The attention of visitors and representatives of a number of media was attracted by the Conference “Barriers to increase the collection and processing of secondary raw materials in Kazakhstan”. The Conference was attended by D.B. Bekmagambetov, the Vice Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sh.N. Suyunbayev, the Deputy Chairman of the Industrial Development Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Conference is organized by BAITAK Green Party of Kazakhstan together with the Association of Secondary Raw Material Recyclers ALE. At the meeting, practicing experts actively discussed important aspects of recycling, including the development prospects, economic benefits and environmental benefits associated with the use of secondary raw materials.
Tomorrow, June 1, there will be a business session on the topic “Sustainable business development: production, leadership, marketing and promotion”. Also at the exhibition, traditionally, there will be a Retail-Distributor Center - a specialized platform for meetings of food suppliers with representatives of retail chains and distributors of Kazakhstan.
